Pet doors are great, but not when every pet—and undomesticated animal—in the neighborhood knows you have one. With the award-winning PetSafe® Electronic SmartDoor™, only pets with a SmartKey™ tag on their collar can enter your home. The SmartDoor recognizes the unique coded signal sent by the SmartKey tag, unlocks the door and then relocks automatically after your pet has passed through. The door cannot be pushed or pulled open in either direction (with an unprotected door, wild animals such as raccoons can figure out how to pull the flap open and duck through).
Three easy-to-set entry modes: Locked, Unlocked and Automatic Access.
SmartDoor detects the SmartKey up to three feet away. Range Knob adjusts sensing range.
Includes one SmartKey with RFA-67 battery module. Up to five SmartKeys can be used (additional keys sold separately). SmartKey fits conveniently on collars 3/4" wide or less. For larger collars, a key ring is provided to attach to the collar ring. SmartKey measures 11/4" diameter x 1 3/8" high and weighs only .64 ounces.
Energy-efficient, weather-resistant seal keeps hot or cold air outdoors, keeps air conditioning or heat from escaping.
LED lights indicate Mode and Low Battery.
Insulated Plexiglas flap locks in both directions.
Fits doors 1½" to 2" thick.
Door uses 4 D-cell batteries (not included).
