Feeding Guidelines

Directions for Mixing Esbilac Powder: Gently stir or shake 1 part powedered Esbilac into 2 parts warm water (a part is a teaspoon, tablespoon or cup). Do not mix more Esbilac that can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use blender. Reconstituted Esbilac should be kept refrigerated.

Directions for Feeding Esbilac Powder:
Warm reconstituted Esbilac to room or body temperature. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces of body weight daily. Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours. Larger and/or older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each puppy. Weigh the puppies 3 times a week to assure that they are receiving adequate Esbilac.

Pregnant and lactating bitches: Feed 2 teaspoons Esbilac Powder per 5 lbs. body weight daily until 2 weeks after whelping.

The Calorie Content (ME) is 0.90 kcal/mL (calculated) when powder is reconstituted 1:2. 

Directions

Mixing Directions: Gently shake or stir one part of powdered Esbilac into two parts of warm water. A part is any measuring device that you use: Teaspoon, Tablespoon or cup. Do not use a blender.

Storage Guidelines

Storage: Reconstituted Esbilac may be refrigerated up to 24 hours. Open powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 months, or can be frozen for up to 6 months.
