Recent studies show that older dogs do have similar nutritional requirements as their younger counterparts and actually require higher protein and fat.
• Fresh chicken and turkey meat plus high-quality chicken meal are the foundation for great taste. Innova incorporates elements from the five food groups – meat, dairy, vegetables, fruit and grain plus essential fats and oils to deliver supreme nutrition for overall health
• Dairy group - cottage cheese providing plenty of nutrient-rich calcium, protein and vitamins A and B.
• Protein group - fresh turkey and chicken, these high quality meat proteins provide essential amino acids.
• Vegetable group - carrots, potatoes, alfalfa sprouts and whole clove garlic add antioxidant vitamins A and C, carbohydrates, fiber and other minerals. The vegetables are fresh, whole and not pre-processed so important nutrients are locked in.
