Feeding Guidelines
Directions for Feeding Just Born:
Just Born may be fed at a daily rate of 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces of body weight. Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours. Larger and/or older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each puppy. It is extremely important to weigh the puppies daily to assure that they are receiving adequate Just Born. Consult your veterinarian for advice. Just Born should be fed at body or room temperature.
Pregnant and lactating bitches: Mix into the daily ration at the rate of 1 tablespoon of prepared Just Born Milk Replacer per 5 lbs. body weight daily until the puppies are weaned.
Growing puppies, show dogs, supplementing large litters and geriatric or convalescing dogs: Just Born is a highly digestible source of nutrients. Mix into the daily ration at the rate of 1 tablespoon of prepared Just Born Milk Replacer per 5 lbs. body weight daily.
