KMR Powder is a complete food source for orphaned or rejected kittens or those nursing, but needing supplemental feeding.

Feeding Guidelines
Directions for Feeding KMR:
All kittens should receive the queen’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted KMR to room or body temperature. Feed kittens 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces of body weight daily. Small and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3-4 hours. Larger and/or older kittens can do well being fed every 8 hours. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each kitten. Weigh the kittens daily to assure that they are receiving adequate KMR.
Pregnant and lactating queens: Feed 2 teaspoons KMR Powder per 5 lbs. body weight daily until 2 weeks after queening.
Growing kittens, show cats, and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 teaspoon KMR Powder per 5 lbs. body weight daily.
Directions
Mixing Directions: Gently shake or stir one part powdered KMR into two parts warm water. A part is any measuring device that you use (teaspoon, tablespoon or cup). Do not use a blender.
A 6oz. can of powder makes approx. 30oz. of liquid when mixed 1:2.
