Rick’s Puppy Pans are quality heavyweight stainless puppy pans. The center is raised, leaving a circular trough around the outside.

Rick’s Puppy Pan was invented almost 20 years ago. Rick had bred a few Boxer litters and had a problem when weaning time came. The puppy dishes that were available at the time had low edges so that the litter could stand around the outside of the dish and feed. Problem was that the pups ended up walking into the dish to reach the food in the middle after they had eaten all of the food around the edges. Rick and Bill pondered this for a while and came up with a new design that solved all of the problems. By raising the middle of the dish and sloping it outwards slightly Rick’s Puppy Pan was born and the problems were solved! We presented the idea to Ethical, who now manufactures the dish to our original design. It’s become a weaning necessity!!
