Royal Canin MAXI Boxer 26 - There are still several theories about where the name Boxer comes from. Some say that it comes from the English term for a fist fighter. But others think that it comes from the Dutch town name of Boxtel that then became altered to Boxer. The special physiology of the Boxer, such as its active lifestyle and unique facial and jaw formation make it a very unusual breed that needs special attention, especially in terms of its nutrition.

Muscular Dynamism -  Your Boxer is full of spirit and enthusiasm and a very active dog, all of which can cause great strain on his muscles and joints. Special care should be taken in preserving muscle mass and joint mobility. Boxer 26™ promotes muscle development and helps protect the joints. The formulation has been developed with high quality proteins and significant concentrations of L-carnitine, chondroitin, glucosamine and essential fatty acids (Omega 6 and Omega 3).

Long Life Span -  Your Boxer may suffer from cardio-vascular diseases, the most common being dilated cardio-myopathy, which can lead to heart failure.
